I launched a promotional "Electronic Music Channel" 7 months ago which i receive promo "New Songs to promote exclusively as well as a few other channels through my youtube channel called www.youtube.com/user/dubzteprecordz from 4 Record Labels which i am affiliated with... "Digital Empire Records", "Digital Complex Records", "Complex Drop Records", "Hyperblast Records". Which means i get exclusive rights to use their copyright signed & released tracks they distribute through online music sale platforms like Itunes Beatport etc... . They also put out remix contests for future releases before they come out to attract new and current producers, and give them a chance to win a signed contract deal with royalties for life. My promotional channel will remain as a venue for all the promos/tracks i receive from my partners to monetize from the Youtube ad clicks, which is 55% of up to 3$ per ad click from paid advertisers which youtube shares. This promotional channel is only for my Label Partners Releases. It is a future investment that could help offset some of my costs in time when i get more views and subscribers...
1. I need to register my business name.
2. Create a new Youtube channel dedicated only to my signed contract copyright releases through my online distributor.
3. Sign up and pay for my distributor which will be "Symphonic Distribution, who will distribute any song i submit to 300 distribution partners online like itunes etc.... Which you can view bellow with the link.
You can view their website here. http://symphonicdistribution.com/join/pricing-label/
To get 100% Royalty's and give my partners/producers the best Royalty Deal/Contract, it will cost me 500$ upfront, as well as 100$ for every track i submit to be sold online through music distributors. Which means 10 tracks would cost me 1000$, & 100 tracks would cost 10 000$ although i will start slowly to grow my business.
4. Pay a professional to design the greatest website ever, and maintain/update it. !
5. Submit Contract Proposals/emails to all the Producers i promote to release tracks from them..
6. Pay a drawing artist i know to draw picture covers for ever song i release through my label.
He created an amaing T-Rex which will be my company logo. I will also have to pay him for designing/integrating my T-Rex with my company name which i cannot dislose until i register the name and sure no one else has taken it.
6.
Print t-shirts with my T-Rex logo to sell and to promote my company and offset some of my
costs. I cannot show you the T-Rex since i have not yet copyrighted the design yet and will eventually trademark it as well which will be very costly.
