My name is Adena, and I would like to ask you to help to get us through this crucial year for my husband with Cystic Fibrosis. Every dollar counts and helps a lot!

The love of my life, James, is in the intensive care at Toronto General Hospital fighting for his life with the Transplant Team. He has Cystic Fibrosis, and developed Bromchiolitis Obliterans after a double lung transplant. James desperately needs a second transplant. He is on a ventilator, and can no longer breathe on his own. He is fighting a serious blood infection and pneumonia. He will not survive without a transplant.

We had to move across the country from British Columbia to Toronto. We are funding raising to pay for the living expenses in Toronto. The cost of living in Toronto is about $20,000 a year. We have been in Toronto since August 31, 2012, and will be here indefinitely awaiting transplant, and for three months post transplant. James is on disability, and it does not even cover the cost of rent. I am unable to work as James' full time support person. Our goal is $10,000 to pay for rent, medications, food, and transportation.
